Here are some better pictures of the bath floor. Got a chance to mop up some of the extra mortar that was left on them. Looks better every day. 
Also, the preparation for the floor in the kitchen.
Didn't actually think we would be getting to the kitchen this soon. Things are moving along quite quickly. Yay!
So it's almost time to start thinking about paint colors. :) I think I have it narrowed down to 3. Which is pretty good.
