Plumbing so far has been interesting. The stuff wrapped in insulation is the old plumbing. The nice long copper tubes is the new stuff going in. The old plumbing was pieced together with several different types of tubing. This will be no more, its one continuous piece, with copper for the hot water and PVC for the cold. Plumbing is like putting together a puzzle with tiny pieces, that has another puzzle mixed in together. Ill be glad when were done. This has been the most return to the store to get a different piece project.
On the same yet slightly different theme. Since I'm moving rooms, what used to be the kitchen will now be the living room. The picture below shows the washer and dryer hook ups. The question I keep asking myself is if I want the laundry in the living room. 
If I leave it there, the plan is to build a nice unit over the washer and dryer to sort of disguise it from plain view. Such as these ideas I found on pinterest (love that site!)
A simple over the top table. With some storage. Could put some lovely curtains over the front to hide them a little more. Or like the pictures below, where the are behind cabinet doors and completely hidden.
Or, the other option is to remove the hook ups from the upstairs and move them down to the unfinished basement. That I have to go outside to get into. Not so bad since really I only do laundry like once a week. Ideas or comments?
